VidStow respects the intellectual property rights of artists, creators, and publishers. We strictly adhere to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”).

1. Technical Utility & Non-Hosting Statement
VidStow is an automated, web-based technical utility that enables users to download, convert, and archive publicly available online video clips for personal, fair-use backup and research purposes.
Critical Notice: VidStow does not host, store, index, or broadcast copyrighted media files.
All video data streams ephemerally directly from the respective third-party social media platform to the user's local device. VidStow maintains no media library, video directory, database of copyrighted media, or user search index.
2. Takedown Notice Procedure (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3))
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent, and you believe that any content made accessible through our utility infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a formal notification containing:
- Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the authorized agent acting on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of Infringing URL: The exact public URL(s) on our site or source platform to allow us to locate and verify the claim.
- Complaining Party Information: Full legal name, physical address, telephone number, and valid email address.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or the law.
- Perjury Statement: A statement that the information is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
3. Counter-Notification Procedure (17 U.S.C. § 512(g))
If you believe material was disabled or removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written Counter-Notification including your signature, identification of the material removed, a statement under penalty of perjury of good faith belief of mistake, and consent to federal court jurisdiction.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i)(1)(A), VidStow maintains a policy to block or terminate access for IP addresses or users determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
